Consultations
The Dynamis Institute believes that parents must first obtain proper knowledge about home education. (see Seminars info)
Thereafter the parents attend the PERSONAL FAMILY CONSULTATION, which takes place after the information is obtained through the seminar, or DVD’s or Recorded Information and Transformation or the Latest Recording: Bringing Healing to the Nation and Clearing your Vision.
Parents may attend a FAMILY CONSULTATION on another occasion after they have obtained the needed background information. It is important for both parents to obtain this information.
Before the FAMILY CONSULTATION the profile analysis of the whole family is done and parents will have it available for reference during the CONSULTATION. To this end the parents fill in LEARNING STYLE FORMS for the whole family as well as the SUMMARY form and the booking form, which have to be sent back to the Rooted family of the Dynamis Institute you have booked with.
After the Seminar (or the DVD) or Latest video series and Family consultation, parents can start their home education with ease as they will understand how important it is to act in the interest of the child
Should families still feel that they need additional assistance, a practical session of one or two hours with ROOTED FAMILIES of the DYNAMIS INSTITUTE is available, where they can get emotional encouragement and can watch curricula. ROOTED FAMILIES of the Dynamis Institute are presented by experienced home educators who have been equipped and mentored by Martie du Plessis for years and are thus competent to provide assistance in their own regions.
All PROFILE ANALYSES are overseen by Martie du Plessis of Dynamis Institute.
Part One:
- Determine the raw material of each family member
- Identify the family members’ learning style preference
- Determine what is in the best interest of the family and individual child
- Set out a growth program for each child as well as a family vision for future growth
Part Two:
- Working through topics in the workbook provided covering:
- Suggestions to learning materials suited to each child’s specific preferences plus examples
- Discussing tried and tested principles to ensure success
- How to keep record of learning
- Matriculation and certification

Dynamis has been actively involved in assistance for homeschoolers for the past 22 years through presenting seminars and doing consultations. During consultations curriculum assistance was provided, but we also concentrated on the immediate need of the family, be it lack of discipline, family relations, conflict, rebellious teenagers, etc. Parents always hope to get assistance with the curriculum, which they do get, but 80% of the time is used for establishing PARENTS AS THE BEST CURRICULUM and we focussed on boosting the morale of the parents.
In recent times the social and family needs have increased and changed so much that we found it necessary to use the greatest part of the contact session for other more important issues, otherwise the parents would in any case not have succeeded in using the curriculum. The time for curriculum guidance thus decreased. Parents often felt that there was too little time available for curriculum guidance, although they were always grateful for the personal attention they received. For 2020 the Dynamis Institute has a passion to train as many families as possible to help other families and we are developing a duplicatable model for helping more parents.
The aim of the Dynamis Institute is to empower families who have been homeschooling for years so that they can help families in need in their regions.
